Dreamgirls Update

It's been a while but I've got some updates for the DREAMGIRLS family. AOL UnCut Video (Taking Entries Now) AOL Uncut Video is hosting a DREAMGIRLS “Live The Dream” Contest from April 5 through May 4 in which aspiring singers are invited to upload their best performance video of a song from the DREAMGIRLS soundtrack. Site visitors will be able to rate their favorites, add text and video comments and share the videos with friends via email or IM. A team of judges will narrow down the entries to the top five finalists and the grand prize winner will then be viewed by the film’s Oscar®-winning director, Bill Condon, and producer Laurence Mark. GLAM.com (Starts April 20) In anticipation of Mother’s Day, Glam.com will host the “DREAMGIRLS Dream BIG Giveaway” in which the grand prize is a trip for the sweepstakes winner and his/her mom to New York City. The prize includes airfare for two, accommodations at the luxurious Dream Hotel for one night, makeovers, a “Dream BIG” gift bag of goodies and two tickets to a Broadway show. Entries will be accepted beginning April 20 through May 21. One Night Only Remix Contest (Starts April 27) Beginning April 27th BET.com will host a “One Night Only” Remix Contest from April 27 through June 1 in which consumers can submit their hip hop versions of the iconic song. The top five videos will be featured on the website and visitors can vote on their favorite performance. The grand prize winner will receive two tickets to the BET Awards in Los Angeles and a makeover to get them ready to join the stars on the red carpet.
