The performance should be coming up soon. Update: We lost Best costume design. So far DREAMGIRLS has won one award. They won. best sound mixing and Eddie lost in the Best Supporting category. I had a feeling the three song nominations might cancel each other out by splitting the vote. Oh, well. Melissa Etheridge is a deserving talent in her owh right. And the "Dreamgirls" performance was terrific; I loved how Jennifer and Beyonce each sang a bit of the other's song, and Anika really had a chance to shine, and shine she did! After all the rumours about rivalry, it needs to be remembered that these are three talented women who work sensationally together.
Way to go Jen!!! I'm so proud of you, girl. They did a fantastic performance!
Jennifer won and this moment was one of the highlights of the evening for me.
I loved the performances of the "Dreamgirls" songs.
UGH NO WIN FOR BEST SONG! That was such a disappointment, but it's okay... at least my Jen won and she shined during the performance! :)
