Scott Culter, one of the writers for Listen said today that he would split his Oscar with Beyonce if he were to win Best Original Song on sunday night.

He says, "Beyonce helped that along a lot - little lifts in the melody, little lifts in the song that we hadn't thought of. She just kept sending back ideas, thoughts, what she wanted. "I'll cut my Oscar in the middle and give her half."

I love Janet, so good pictures! I am also happy for Beyonce because I was kindof mad she didn't get a nom for her part in the song. I canot wait to see the performances, gowns and oscar wins.

Mark, I don't believe in this rumor.

Anyway, as a moviegoer, the Oscars are one of my favorite moments of the year. I love everything about this award show and I can't wait to see the telecast.

I actually heard the same thing too...The girls are going to be singing eachothers songs and not their own, to add something new to the show...

i dont understand how beyonce even got credit for writing because if you notice he did not say one thing about her ever adding words to the song. little bits and piece dont need to be credited. jennifer helped rearrange the last big dreamgirls number. where is her credit? it is clear beyonce gets credit for performing a song whether she helps or not.

Why do you say it hurts your heart to know there is no professional video of the Broadway version of Dreamgirls? There is a video. The entire show was recorded for prosterity. It exists, I've seen it! There's a source in New York where video archives of hundreds of B'way shows are kept. Let's hope that someday the B'way version of Dreamgirls is released to fans!
