She nailed it!! This just brings tears to my eyes. I'm a child of the 70's so I remember when singers really SANG and didn't have to rely totally on visuals (music videos). I miss those days immensely, but JHud has brought them back. I LOVE HER!!!
I don't recall seeing an audience clap several times throughout a performance, but they did for her. They were loving it.

I think this was a high school production for kids the original show was better.If you want to hear singing listen to Jennifer Hollidays one of a kind, best ever Grammy version of I,m telling you.Jennifer Hudson could not even come close to that.Beyonce is a pop r&b singer this also was too much for her, between Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson you might get a cup of coffee from Dunkin Doughnuts for free for that proformance.I quess all these American Idol zombies do not know the show is not a setup for ratings. I think these two deserve a Oscar.I think they do because they fooled alot of people into thinking this was a great proformance.I must say again if Jennifer holliday did not do the original show this would of never become a movie today.This is america and people do have the right to think what they want ,but this should not be sensored just for the people who want to say only the good about this production.I am speaking from my heart this was not a great movie it was a great broadway show.
