I just saw Dreamgirls I felt Jennifer Hudson was not that real I felt she was trying to hard to act, her singing was O.K,but her acting sucked.Beyonce also seemed to be trying to hard and not making the character seem like it was her.Oh well the movie was o.k. but they are saying 9 oscar chances
I guess they do not have too much to choose from this year because this was not a oscar movie.Jennifer Hudson stole the show only because Jennifer Holliday made that role the star.
I must agree the movie was not that great.Jennifer Hudson is all media hype the awards that she has won and is up for are only because their is nothing else that is out there.I mean Eddie Murphy might win a oscar come on.I also love how American Idol kicked her to the curb , nad now that she is in this movie they are taking credit for it.This just proves to me you can mold a person into a actor or singer even if they are just O.K.The spice girls ,madonna,American Idol, and Jennifer Hudson all a product of media hype and handlers.Keep up the good work Hollywood the city of fakes.
I can not not believe because this movie was not put in the best picture of the year we are hearing the race card again .Grow up people the reason why they snubbed it because first of all it falls under a musical type movie to which the oscars almost always snubs unless it is The Sound of Music or Hair something like that.
Second this movie was play first, and the movie was not that good so the reason are given its not because it was a black movie..this is what I read in the New York Post today..That is garbage.If this was a all white cast it still would of not been up for movie of the year.SORRY!
