OBC Remastered and Rereleased!
The Original Broadway Cast recording of DREAMGIRLS is being remastered and rereleased. The cd is being labeled as the special edition. Hopefully, that means some bonus tracks. There is no tracklisting or cd cover on the site right now but I'm sure that will change in a couple weeks. It's being released on November 21st and is up for pre-order right now on amazon.com. the song 'ain't no party' sung by lorell was not on the track list!
that's one of the best song in the show!
i was lookin forward to hear anika noni rose sing that song.
loretta divine sung the heck out of the song from the original bway show.
i hope they did justice to that in the movie.
"ain't no party" is not in the movie, they cut it so as "press conference"...
