AFI Awards
 DREAMGIRLS made the AFI's (American Film Institute) top ten movies of 2006. You can read the full list here. The films and shows will be honored at an AFI luncheon in Los Angeles on Jan. 12. There are a few critics awards coming out this week and I'll let you know if DREAMGIRLS gets any awards.Also ,the LA Premiere of DREAMGIRLS is tomorrow at the Wilshire so look out for pictures and video tomorrow and Tuesday. First, she is a runner-up for Best Supporting Actress at the LA Film Critics Association Awards:
Supporting actress: Luminita Gheorghiu, "The Death of Mr. Lazarescu"
Runner-up: Jennifer Hudson, "Dreamgirls"
And, now, I see she won two awards from the NY FILM CRITICS ONLINE AWARDS 2006.

And

However, "Dreamgirls" was not one of the ten best pictures of the year.
